Last week we said a sad goodbye to our digital marketing director of two and a half years, Ian Creek. Since Ian joined BHP he has commuted daily up and down the M5 from Sidmouth and the time has come to spend more time with his young family. Ian has taken a new role with one of BHP’s development agencies, Rokk Media, based in Exeter, and will still work with BHP in this capacity and on a consultancy basis so he’s not leaving us up the creek (pun intended).
Ian brought a huge amount to BHP and his digital expertise has been invaluable. During the time he’s been with us traffic to our Donut sites has increased by 464% from 26,471 unique visitors in September 2010 to 149,334 in January 2013. Our newsletters have been overhauled and he’s launched new products such as the Donut partner packages and the ‘Ask a legal expert’ lead generation product.
Ian will be greatly missed by the BHP team but made sure he will be fondly remembered by treating us to a spanking new coffee machine – thanks Ian!
In turn, we gave him an equally generous leaving present now he’ll have a bit more time to catch up on all those domestic chores. He chose the Jet Wash, honest. The pint-sized tank top was our idea. And Ian was man enough to wear it.
